The software that I found that could be used in my future classroom is ELGG. It can be found at http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/elgg.php
This software is a type of social networking that has the capabilities of weblog, file repository (pod casting), online profile and RSS reader. I would use this more for communication among other teachers. Perhaps sharing assignments, ideas and other information.

All the reviews revolve around how good the software is and also some of it's confusing aspects. I would say these reviews are from a variety of people from teachers to business administrators.
